The minutes and presentations from the NCPN Grapes (Tier 2) Board meeting on November 13, 2009, in Davis, California, are posted below.

The final meeting of the Western Grape Clean Plant Network Board was held at UC Davis on October 28, 2009.  The regional grape networks were later consolidated into a single network at the May 10, 2010 meeting of the NCPN Grapes (Tier 2) Board.

On February 24, 2009, one of the NCPN Grapes Board members, Jon Held, hosted the NCPN Grapes (Tier 2) Board meeting at his Stone Hill Winery in Hermann, Missouri.  It was at this meeting that the decision was made to establish a new, high pathogen-testing standard for NCPN foundation vineyards.  The minutes and meeting presentations are posted below.

 

NCPN LogoThe National Clean Plant Network (NCPN) is a voluntary association of specialty crop networks that have joined to promote the use of pathogen-tested, healthy plant material for food crops in the United States. The NCPN operates under the auspices of three agencies within the United States Department of Agriculture - Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) and National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).
